Teamwork was the main idea of this week's stories. We learned about diving teams, astronauts and explorers who need to work together in order to complete tasks. Each member had a job to do! We will take the Topic 14 assessment on Monday. Students are bringing home the completed and graded review that you can look over. They have been successful with graphing unit. This week, they created their own survey question and gather the data on their classmates. Next week, they will take the data and make either a bra graph, line plot or picture graph. Whichever graph they choose MUST include: a title, labels, numbers and their data. Our final Envisions unit will be Topic 15- Geometry. This unit will be a combinations of lessons and hands-on activities. In social studies, we made a map of Ohio & located the U.S. on a map of North America. For our weather unit, students made weather vanes to determine the direction of the wind. Students also made flip books to show the 4 main types of clouds. We determined that Friday's clouds coverage would be stratus as they were flat, pancake- shape like clouds that covered the gray clouds.
