Welcome to your child's 2nd grade classroom and I am excited to be your child's teacher. This will be my 7th year at Redwood and my 12th year in the district. I look forward to getting to know your child as a learner and being able to help them grow. Our class will be filled with learning and FUN! It will be a place where every student will feel safe and loved.
This blog is an important place as it will provide a home to school connection. It will contain weekly updates that share classroom happenings, important information, upcoming events and resources. Take a look around and I will share the layout at Parent Information Night.
Parent Information Night is on Thursday, August 17th from 7:15 to 7:45. I will be sharing information regarding the upcoming school year including curriculum, homework and home/school communication. There will be office and classroom paperwork shared. If you would like, you may bring in your child's supplies. We will place them in their locker until we organize them during the first days of the school year. I look forward to meeting you and working together to support your child's needs. If you cannot attend Parent Information Night, please feel free to email me and we will make sure you get the needed information.
