This week, we took the Topic 11 assessment this week. With the 8 days remaining, we will be doing review lesson from our already covered topics of Geometry, Data & Measurement with some hands-on activities. We wrapped up our Wonders unit on Teamwork and started our final week on money! This correlates with our final Economic social studies unit. Students will learn vocabulary including good, services, income, cost and resources. We read Give, Save, Spend With the Three Little Pigs by Clint Greenleaf to introduce how money can be used in these different ways.  Our Wonders story of the week taught how a dollar bill is made and used. The skill of the week is summarize and the strategy is problem & solution. In our weather unit, we learned about another 2 weather instruments- barometer (air pressure ) and thermometer (air temperature).

Thanks!
