Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Welcome! I am Marissa Wilhelm, your child's 2nd grade teacher. I am excited for the 2018-2019 school year! This will be my 8th year at Redwood and my 13th year in the district. I look forward to getting to know your child as a learner and being able to help them grow.  Our class will be filled with learning and FUN! It will be a place where every student feels safe and loved.

This blog is an important place as it will provide a weekly home to school connection. It will contain updates on classroom happenings, important information, upcoming events and resources. Take a look around and sign-up on the right-hand side to have blog entries sent right to you! Once you submit your email address, you will get an email with a confirmation that MUST be completed to get the updates. Look for the below image on the right-hand side of the blog.

Open House is on Monday, August 20th from 4:30 to 6:30. This is for PARENTS and STUDENTS to come see the classroom and meet the teacher. Also, there will be office and classroom paperwork shared. If you would like, you may bring in your child's supplies. We will place them in their locker until we organize them during the first days of the school year.

I look forward to meeting you and working together to support your child's needs. If you cannot attend Open House, we will make sure you get the needed information.
